Hi, I'm Lauren—a portrait photographer based in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia.
With over four years of experience behind the camera and a bachelor's degree in Motion Picture Arts, I've always been drawn to the art of storytelling through imagery and have a passion for taking images that feel like stills from a film. My photography style is dreamy, warm, and cinematic, with a focus on creating images that feel genuine and timeless.
I know being in front of a camera can feel a little uncomfortable, so my goal is to make your session feel less like a photoshoot and more like time spent together. I'll guide you when you need it, give you space to be yourself, and make sure there's plenty of room for genuine moments, laughter, and connection.

Sessions are kept relaxed and straightforward. Before your shoot, we'll choose a location and a clear direction so you know what to expect going in.
During the session
During the session, I'll guide you when it's needed and step back when it isn't. It's usually a mix of gentle direction and candid moments, depending on what's unfolding.
Afterwards
Afterwards, I go through everything and edit the images in a way that reflects the session. You can expect your full gallery within 1–2 weeks.

What should we wear to our portrait session?
Wear outfits that feel comfortable and reflect your style. Solid colours and soft textures photograph beautifully; avoid large logos or busy patterns so the focus stays on you.
How long until we receive our edited photos?
Your edited gallery is typically ready within 1-2 weeks. Need them sooner? Ask about accelerated editing — a 48-hour turnaround is available for a small $50 fee.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions take place outdoors across Metro Vancouver — parks, beaches, trails, and urban spots. If you have a meaningful location in mind, let Lauren know when booking.
Can we book for a large family or group?
Absolutely. The Full Experience package is ideal for larger families or groups because it includes more time and a full gallery of edited images.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Overcast skies often create the most flattering light, so a little cloud cover is welcome. If heavy rain or unsafe conditions arise, Lauren will reach out to reschedule at no extra cost.
How do I book and pay?
Choose your preferred date and time slot through the booking form. A deposit confirms your session, with the balance due before delivery.
